What's New
  • Roundtable report on OECD Economic Survey of Canada 2010

In September, the OECD released the Economic Survey of Canada 2010, with a chapter that examines the Canadian healthcare system and makes recommendations on three themes: cost containment, access and quality. To promote policy dialogue, CHSRF invited healthcare leaders to a roundtable discussion the morning of the report’s release.

  • Why you should consider the EXTRA program

“The faculty have been excellent—these are top people—and there is also a wonderful chance to network with other people in my EXTRA cohort. It has been a phenomenal experience for me,” says Dr. Nancy Whitmore. Through this part-time, two-year program, EXTRA is creating a culture of evidence use by healthcare leaders. Applications due March 1, 2011.

  • Students: Get your mythbusting caps on!

CHSRF is once again holding the Mythbusters Award competition. So, start thinking about a topic that debunks a common misperception about healthcare management and policy in Canada. You could win $1,500 and a ticket to attend the 2011 Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Applications due February 1, 2011.
